What’s it like?

A small rocky sheltered bay on the west side of Mumbles head (20 minute drive from Parc-Le-Breos B&B), some sand is exposed at low tide. The bay is the beginning of the costal path which stretches all the way to Rhossili and beyond. A great bay for rockpooling and also has some interesting red rock formations Of interest at the head of the bay, near the roadside is a small  iron mine,  believed to have been worked from Roman times. It is now closed and sealed off.

Some bathers use the bay.

A good little fishing spot, Spinning or plugging on a incoming tide can yield good bass.

Not a surfing beach.
