We hope you enjoy our video of Gower. It is a mix of time lapse sequences taken down at Three Cliffs Bay and Pennard Castle, along with some video of Parc-le-Breos House.

We had great fun shooting the time lapse parts of the video - if you enjoy still photography I would say that time lapse is a natural progression, maybe even getting you into using the amazing video facility that you find on many SLRs. What I love about it is, that in the same way as when you first pick up a camera, you become more and more aware of the the quality of light, form, shadows… generally more appreciative of the world around you. When you start using your camera for time lapse you suddenly find yourself becoming aware of time, how fast are the clouds moving across the sky or how quickly shadows are creeping across the grass so that you can pick appropriate intervals between shots. There is so much to learn - I just wish i had plenty of time to do more. One word of warning - your camera shutter is probably rated for 150,000 shots and at 24 frames needed for each second of final film you produce you will be surprised how quickly you can eat up that shutter life!

Set Fire to the Stars

A large part of this new Dylan Thomas film was filmed at Parc-Le-Breos during February 2014. The film stars Elijah Wood, Celyn Jones, Kelly Reilly and was directed by Andy Goddard.

It also has fantastic music composed by Gruff Rhys.
