About Us
Parc-Le-Breos House is a large country house and gardens, steeped in history and set in 70 peaceful acres of land that once were the deer park of William de Breos and from where it gets its name. Much of the architecture of the present-day house is the work of the Vivian family who built Parc Le Breos into a 2000-acre estate during the 19th century when they found fortune having developed Swansea’s copper industry.
During the early 1900s the house fell into disrepair; the estate was finally sold at auction in the early 1950s when the Edwards family purchased it. From 1964 the house was used as a pony trekking centre until in 2016 we made the hard decision to say good bye to the pony trekking days and concentrating on turning this beautiful old house into a plush hotel and restaurant.
Over the last few years we have been busy… we have completed the renovation of the gardens giving the house the backdrop it deserves, while in the house we have created a 50 cover dining area, plush new bar, created new deluxe rooms and a spectacular bridal suite. We have a great team of people and are striving to achieve the best standards of both accommodation and food that we can, this has been acknowledged by Parc Le Breos winning the tourism Swansea bay awards twice in recent years.
During the year aside from our normal hotel and restaurant trade we offer a range of events some of which are small and run quietly alongside normal business such as wine tastings and family celebrations and some larger which necessitate closing our doors to normal residents, for instance weddings and corporate events. We enjoy the mix it keeps us on our toes and best of all it never feels repetitive or stale, when we host an event we really feel we get to know the family or business, when we open our doors on a normal week we look forward to seeing our regular customers and welcoming new faces.
Whatever you want we welcome you to just ask…
