Terms & Conditions
Please note that these terms and conditions apply to standard bookings. Different terms and conditions apply to group bookings, events, weddings, self catering and exclusive use bookings etc
Deposits & Payments
A deposit equal to the value of the first nights stay will be deducted from your credit or debit card at the time of booking.
The balance of the account, including any extra costs incurred during your stay is payable on checkout.
Cancellation Policy:
Reservations cancelled 21 days prior to the booking date will be refunded minus a 5% administration fee. On all confirmed bookings cancelled outside the specified cancellation period (21 day), there is a Cancellation Charge as follows:
7-21 days = Loss of deposit
3-7 days = 50% of total accommodation cost
0-2 days = 100% of accommodation cost
Please note that at weekends and during holiday periods we have a minimum stay policy of two nights or more. During these times, partial cancellation of a booking (or cutting a stay short) may result in a charge for all of the dates initially booked.
Amendments to your booking:
You should notify us of any amendments to your confirmed booking by telephone or in writing (by post or by email to [email protected]) as soon as possible. Amendments are subject to availability and we reserve the right to cancel amended bookings if as result they break specific booking rules such as minimum nights stays over busy periods.
Check in / Check out times
Check-In time is 3pm. Check-Out time is 11:00am. Early Check-In or Late Check-Out is by request only and not guaranteed; If you plan to arrive later than 8:30pm, please advise the hotel directly by calling the number given on your booking confirmation.
Dinning at Parc-Le-Breos
Breakfast:
Room rates include a full traditional breakfast (except for the Quabs cabin which is self catered). Breakfast is served in the Dining Room between 8am and 10:00am
Restaurant:
You can book a table in the restaurant for dinner from 6pm - 8pm Wednesday - Sunday on, on Mondays & Tuesdays the restaurant is closed, we also offer lunches on Wednesdays - Saturdays from 12pm - 2pm, Sunday lunch 12:00 - 7:00pm. Reserving a table is essential so please call us on 01792 371636.
Afternoon teas:
We also offer afternoon teas from 3pm Wednesday to Saturday, Packed lunches are also supplied at an additional cost and must be ordered the night before.
Dietary Requirements / Medical Conditions
If you or any member of your party has a medical problem, dietary requirement or disability which may affect your stay, please call to advise us so that we can make provision for the particular needs of the person(s) concerned, or advise you if we are unable to make such provision.
Pets
With the exception of guide dogs, no pets are permitted in the public areas of the hotel. We do however offer one dog friendly room (please note there is a surcharge for each dog), The room needs to be booked over the telephone, we ask that guess booking the dog friendly room carefully read the description on the web site as the room is not of as higher standard as other room in the b and b and has a stable door/window opening onto the rear car park. Guests who use the dog friendly room are responsible for their own dogs whilst staying at the B&B and are liable for any damage caused by their pet. It is the owners responsibility to ensure that the dog douse not upset other guests for instance by making noise. if the dog douse cause problems we will ask that you find alternative accommodation for it such as your own car or local kennels.
Electric Car Chargers
We have electric car charging points at the hotel, they are operated using the Monta payment app.
Cancellations and Changes to Accommodation made by Parc-Le-Breos:
In the event that Parc-Le-Breos is unable to accommodate a confirmed reservation we will endeavour to secure for you alternative accommodation of an equal standard. If at any time we need to make changes that will significantly affect your stay or we need to cancel your stay, we will tell you as soon as possible, offering a suitable alternative or a refund. This does not apply to minor changes or events during your stay, resulting from unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control. We cannot be held responsible for cancelling your booking as a result of your failure to comply with any requirement of our Terms & Conditions, and we cannot be held liable for any expenses, costs or losses incurred by you as a result of any change or cancellation. If a guest or a member of your party behaves in a way that causes or is likely to cause danger, upset or distress to a third party or to hotel or guest property, we are entitled, without prior notice, to curtail the stay and request that the person(s) concerned leave the hotel. No refunds or return travel arrangements will be made and we will not pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of such a curtailment.
Pricing:
Parc-Le-Breos Bed and Breakfast reserves the right to increase or decrease the price of unsold breaks at any time. The price of your chosen break will be confirmed when your booking is made and, with the exception of any errors, we will not increase this price once it has been confirmed. We reserve the right to correct any errors in advertised and confirmed prices and will do so as soon as we become aware of an error. We will notify you of any price discrepancies relating to your booking should they arise, but we strongly advise you to check that the final price of your booking is correct before making your final confirmation. Inaccurate prices on third party websites will not be honoured by Parc-Le-Breos.
Where prices are advertised per person they are based on 2 or more people sharing.
Additional items
Unless stated as part of your booking, additional items such as (but not limited to) the cost of meals, packed lunches, drinks, and travel expenses, are not included in the price of your stay. If you incur any such additional costs you must settle the sum prior to your departure. All prices are quoted in £GBP and include tax (VAT) at 20.0%.
Making a Booking:
By making a booking you are confirming that you are authorised to do so on behalf of all persons named in the booking and you are acknowledging that all members of your party agree to be bound by these Booking Terms & Conditions. When your booking has been made a confirmation will be sent to you by email using the email address that you have supplied or alternatively by post. You should retain a copy of this confirmation for your reference. Booking confirmations are subject to the availability of accommodation at the hotel. You should carefully check the details of your confirmation as soon as you receive it. You must contact Parc-Le-Breos immediately if any of the details are incorrect or incomplete. We will always endeavour to rectify any inaccuracies or accommodate any alterations you wish to make to your booking. We cannot accept liability for any inaccuracies that are not brought to our attention within seven days of issuing your confirmation, nor can we accept responsibility for inaccurate information that you have supplied.
Third Party Providers:
Elements of your break may include services supplied by third parties (for example golf, surf lessons/hire, boat trips, etc). Such third party suppliers will usually have their own set of Terms and Conditions relating to the services they provide. You should consult the Terms and Conditions of any third party either before or soon after making a booking if your break includes such items.
Smoking:
In accordance with the no-smoking legislation, Parc-Le-Breos is a smoke free premises and smoking is not permitted anywhere within the buildings, smoking areas are outside. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in an additional charge of £100.
Circumstances beyond our control:
We cannot accept responsibility for unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. These include (but are not limited to) adverse weather conditions, fire, riot, war, terrorist activity (or threat of such activity), industrial dispute, natural disaster, or injuries and death of an individual(s) through accidental circumstances unconnected with the hotel.
Damage to Property/Rooms/Furnishings:
By making a booking you are accepting responsibility for any damage or loss caused by yourself or a member of your party. We reserve the right to charge guests the full cost of rectifying damage, caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the establishments property or structure. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest's credit / debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address. We will however make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum
Complaints:
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your stay you should bring the problem or issue to the attention of a member of staff at the bed and breakfast as soon as possible so that all reasonable efforts can be made to rectify the situation. If for any reason the issue cannot be resolved to your satisfaction you should put it in writing and send it to the proprietor of Parc-Le-Breos. Any complaints arising out of your stay at the bed and breakfast that are not brought to the attention of the establishment during your stay are unlikely to receive the same level of attention if made retrospectively. Should you be dissatisfied with any aspect of the service provided by Parc-Le-Breos, you can bring it to our attention by writing to: The Proprietor, Parc-Le-Breos House, Parkmill, Gower, Swansea, South Wales, SA3 2HA. Our liability to guests We accept liability for, and totally restricted to, services booked via Parc-Le-Breos in accordance with the Booking Terms & Conditions current at the time of booking. We cannot accept any other form of liability.
Insurance:
It is your responsibility to ensure that any insurance cover you have provides adequate cover for your needs and for the duration of your stay.
Gift Vouchers:
The voucher is valid for one year from the date of issue.
The voucher may be redeemed against ether the activity stated or accommodation.
Gift vouchers may not be redeemed for cash in any circumstances. Vouchers are not sold on a sale or return basis and no return will be permitted.
No responsibility will be accepted for lost, stolen or damaged Gift Vouchers and such vouchers shall not be refunded or replaced.
Gift Vouchers will be subject to verification at the time of presentation Parc-Le-Breos reserve the right not to accept any vouchers that have or appear to have been forged, altered, damaged, defaced or otherwise tampered with.
Additional Information:
Accommodation: As a minimum, all bedrooms feature a private en suite bathroom, colour television, and tea/coffee making facilities. Tourist attractions: To avoid disappointment you should check the seasonal and/or daily opening times of any tourist attractions prior to traveling to the hotel or the attraction concerned. Appliances: Electrical appliances, such as toasters, mini cookers and portable grills, may not be used in the rooms as they may set off the sensitive fire alarm system.
Third party websites and viruses:
Parc-Le-Breos cannot be held responsible for the accuracy, content, or availability of information about our establishment that may be found on third party websites. Neither are we responsible for the content or privacy policies of any third party websites that have links to or from the Parc-Le-Breos website. Attempts to interfere with the operation of our website, by whatever means, or any attempt to place an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our website or server infrastructure is prohibited. In the event of our website failing to operate, either in whole or in part, due to infections by computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond reasonable control, we reserve the right in our sole and absolute discretion to prohibit usage of our site and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the site.
Vehicles:
All vehicles are parked at the owners risk. Should a problem occur with a vehicle in the hotel car park, the hotel cannot accept any liability.
Variation:
Parc–Le- Breos reserves the right to alter any of the above terms and conditions but undertakes that before so doing it will serve a reasonable notice upon the customer. The customer may not vary the terms and conditions and any attempt to vary these terms and conditions will not be affective unless it is in writing and signed on behalf Parc-Le-Breos.
Loss of or damage to guests' property:
Under the Hotel Proprietors' Act 1956, a hotel proprietor may in certain circumstances be liable to make good any loss of or damage to a guest's property even though it was not due to any fault of the proprietor or staff of the hotel. This liability however:
Extends only to the property of guests who have engaged sleeping accommodation at the hotel
Is limited to £50 for any one article and a total of £100 in the case of any one guest, except in the case of property which has been deposited, or offered for deposit, for safe custody
Does not cover motor cars or other vehicles of any kind or property lost in them, or horses or other live animals.
Exclusive use / self catering
Terms and conditions vary for bookings which occupy the entire property, for instance Exclusive use, Weddings, Events and self catering groups. To book exclusive use of the property will ether take a large non refundable deposit of 33% or staged deposits of £500 followed by £1500 making a non refundable £2000 deposit, dependent on the source of the booking. The balance of an exclusive use booking also has to be settled 8 weeks prior to arrival and is also non refundable.
There are a number of variations to the terms, conditions and rules for the way your party may use the property, we will give you a copy of the terms when you make your booking and are always available to answer queries regarding use by phone or email.
