What’s it like?

Limeslade Bay is a small rocky sheltered bay on the west side of Mumbles head (20 minute drive from Parc-Le-Breos), some sand is exposed at low tide. The bay is the beginning of the coastal path which stretches all the way to Rhossili and beyond. A great bay for rockpooling and also has some interesting red rock formations of interest at the head of the bay. Near the roadside is a small iron mine, believed to have been worked from Roman times – it is now closed and sealed off.

Watersports

Some bathers use the bay.

Fishing

A good little fishing spot. Spinning or plugging on an incoming tide can yield good bass.

Surfing

Not a surfing beach.
