Fish & chips at high tide & sunset.

I can’t think of a better place to enjoy fish and chips but sitting on a bench watching the tide rise over the marshes as the sun sets.

More About Penclawdd Village:
Penclawdd has a flavour all of its own. Nestled on the edge of the Loughour estuary this small village used to be a busy little port, exporting from the coal mines and copper works. Today it is still famous for its seafood – not surprising when you think that the cockle industry in Penclawdd stretches back to Roman times – They’ve had plenty of time to get it right!

The marshes of Penclawdd are a great place for wildlife watching – from the marsh ponies to the many wading birds to which the mud flats are such an important habitat.
